The course Chinese Materia Medica should fully integrate professional education with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture under the guidance of ideological and political education in professional courses to cultivate students′ TCM ways of thinking and confidence in their major by means of cultural immersion and knowledge impartment. Through TCM cultural education
the course can help students develop a people-oriented attitude toward their profession that combines theory and practice. Meanwhile
such cultural education with multi-dimensional assessment system not only cultivates students′ professional ethics and cultural self-confidence
but also incorporates aquisition of knowledge
skills and values. In the teaching process
students will constantly reflect on their learning experience
strengthen their professional identity and confidence
and enhance their professionalism
achieving the goal of moral and cultural education.
