A visualized analysis of hot research topics of Education of Chinese Medicine in the past 25 years

Abstract: This paper first retrieves the articles of Education of Chinese Medicine from Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) between 1995 and 2019, analyzing them according to numbers of papers published, citation frequency, downloads, and hot research topics, and then visualizes the data by CiteSpace. Based on these data, altogether 4,373 articles are collected, each with 2.87 average citation frequency and 112.65 average downloads. These articles indicate that the main research focuses are teaching reform, talents cultivation, teaching methods, TCM colleges and universities, etc. The identified research focuses are closely related to the national education reforms and developments, and the papers published have provided corresponding references for the research of Chinese medicine education.
