Abstract: Medicinal plant cultivation, one of the main courses of Chinese medicine resources, is characterized by multi-disciplines. The course is challenging to students due to their lack of relevant background knowledge. Based on teaching experiences, this paper suggested that teachers should have a good command of specialized knowledge, enhance students’ quality education. In teaching, teachers should motivate students’ initiatives and make best use of teachers’ practical experiences and teaching skills. Teachers should also apply theories into practice by integrating teaching with research, adopting autonomous learning, and tutorial teaching.
