Designing and applying open teaching method in the teaching of pharmaceutical botany

Abstract: We integrated the open teaching method into the teaching of pharmaceutical botany to stimulate students’ enthusiasm and creativity, by designing open teaching method, teaching case and related evaluation system. The purpose is to make clearer the teaching focus, to enable students to better understand the course, to make teaching evaluation fully reflect real learning and teaching outcomes. Open teaching method flexibly used in theoretical classes can better help students’ autonomous learning and foster teachers’ guidance, and finally achieve best teaching results.
