Abstract: Good understanding of cultural connotation is the key premise to precise acquisition of the doctrine of epidemic febrile disease. We can set up a course net of historical materials about different famous doctors, introduce their life background and medical practice, and blend such contents into course teaching to enrich its cultural connotation. Students can be encouraged to do intensive reading on masterwork of the course, reflect on formation and development of the course under historical circumstance, increase dialectical thinking ability and improve autonomous learning ability. Through network, microblog and wechat interaction and reasonable evaluation mode, we get to know that this teaching method can effectively attract students’ enthusiasm in learning the course, enhance their humanistic qualities, and help improve the level of teaching the course.
